Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to HeartRecord Home (package name: com.heartreg.pulselog.home, the “App”). The developer/data controller is Moda Chic, and the contact email is negronsbl@gmail.com.

This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information generated or provided by you when you use the App. The App is not intended for users under 13 years of age. If you are under 13, please do not use the App or provide any information to us.

Important Health Disclaimer: HeartRecord Home provides features for recording, organizing, and viewing personal health-related information. The App may use the device camera to provide an estimated heart rate reading for general wellness and personal reference only after you grant camera permission and actively start the heart rate estimation feature. The App will not access the camera for this purpose without your permission. Except for this camera-based heart rate estimation feature, the App does not independently measure blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, or other health indicators. The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency assistance, or medical monitoring. Its estimates, content, and records must not replace professional medical advice or measurements taken with medical-grade equipment.

1. Information We May Process

Basic profile information you choose to provide: gender, age, and height. These fields are optional, and you may use the core features without completing them.

Health and activity records you enter: heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, water intake, BMI, and step count.

Device and technical information: IP address, device details such as model, OS version, and language, app usage statistics, crash and performance logs, and advertising identifier (GAID).

To support launcher functions, the App also identifies launchable app information on your device, such as app name, package name, and launch entry information, for local display, search, quick launch, shortcuts, and recommendations.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the information above to provide and improve the App’s functions, including health record display, trend analysis, launcher interface and search, app management, quick launch, shortcut creation, troubleshooting, performance analysis, stability improvements, ad effectiveness measurement, anti-fraud checks, and attribution statistics. Health data you enter is not used for medical diagnosis or treatment.

3. Sharing and Third-Party Services

Personal information and health records you enter are not shared with third parties. Non-personal and technical information may be processed by third-party analytics, attribution, and advertising services in accordance with their own privacy policies, including:

Google Firebase: https://policies.google.com/privacy

AppsFlyer: https://www.appsflyer.com/legal/privacy-policy/

AdMob: https://policies.google.com/privacy

AppLovin: https://www.applovin.com/privacy/

Mintegral: https://www.mintegral.com/en/privacy

Unity: https://unity.com/cn/legal/privacy-policy

Liftoff: https://liftoff.io/privacy-policy/

These services may process non-personal information such as device model, OS version, IP address, advertising identifier, installation events, and app launch events. Advertising SDKs used in the App do not access personal information or health records stored locally on the device. We do not sell or rent user data.

4. Cloudflare Cloud Configuration Service

The App uses Cloudflare to store and distribute cloud configuration parameters used to control certain client-side behaviors, such as feature flags, display logic, runtime parameters, and service policies. To fulfill this function, Cloudflare may process necessary network requests and technical information, such as IP address and basic device/network information required for the request. This function does not upload your personal privacy data or health data. Cloudflare Privacy Policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/policies/privacy/

5. Storage, Retention, and Deletion

Your personal information and health records are stored locally on your device by default.

The App does not provide cloud storage or online synchronization for user records.

You may delete local data by clearing the App data or uninstalling the App.

If a third-party service has independently processed related data, its retention period is subject to that service’s own policy; uninstalling the App does not necessarily delete such third-party data automatically.

The App allows users to export data manually.

6. Permissions

Installed apps list / app visibility: used to display the app drawer, support search, quick launch, shortcut creation, and recommendations.

Camera: requested only after you actively start the heart rate estimation feature. The camera and, where supported, the device light are used to detect changes in the fingertip signal and generate an estimated heart rate reading. Camera signals are analyzed temporarily on your device and are not retained after the estimation is completed. The App does not take or save photographs or videos, and camera images, video content, or raw camera signals are not uploaded to our servers or disclosed to third parties. Heart rate estimates may be affected by the device model, camera and light performance, finger placement, movement, surrounding conditions, and other factors, and therefore may be inaccurate or unavailable. Prolonged use of the camera light may cause the device or the area around the light to become warm. Stop using this feature if you experience discomfort or if the device becomes unusually hot. Do not rely on this feature for medical decisions, emergencies, or the detection or monitoring of any health condition.

Notifications: used to remind you to record health data or receive feature/summaries notifications. You may disable them at any time in system settings or app settings.

Health data access: used only to read step count information for activity tracking and trend display, and is not shared with third parties.

You may also revoke the above permissions in system settings.

7. Uninstalling the App and Switching the Default Launcher

You may uninstall the App through Google Play or system settings. If the App has been set as the default Home app, please switch back to another launcher in the system default-app settings before uninstalling. To restore your original launcher, you may also reselect your preferred Home app in the system default Home settings.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect locally stored data, but no electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. International Transfers

If you are located in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, certain technical information may be processed in countries outside your region, including the United States, through services such as Firebase, AdMob, Facebook, or AppLovin. Where required by applicable law, such transfers are carried out using recognized legal safeguards, which may include an adequacy decision, approved standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism provided under applicable data protection law. The safeguards applicable to a particular transfer may depend on the relevant service provider and processing location. You may contact us using the email address below if you would like further information about the transfer mechanisms relevant to your information.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the App or on the store listing. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Policy.
